- All K-3 teachers in Reading First Schools must attend the 4-day Reading Academy.
|
- Each participant must attend all 4 days for the entire day. Sessions begin at 8:00 AM and
are scheduled to end at 4:00 PM daily. Registration begins at 7:30 AM.

Options: |
- June 16-19, 2008, at Three Oaks Middle School in Lee County
- August 4-7, 2008, at Gulf Coast High School in Collier County
- There will be NO Fall Academy offered.
|
- Other teachers (other grade levels/other schools) may attend at the district’s expense.
|
- INTERVENTION ACADEMY is new for 2008. If a K-3 teacher in a Reading First school has attended the 4-day Academy, the Intervention Academy is an option. Each session is limited to 50 participants, who must have completed the 4-day Academy.
