Remember….if you want to go to a 4 year university, consider the following:

qualify for “Talented 20” Program – the top 20% of senior class seeking a standard diploma based on WGPA (weighted grade point average) and who have met State University System required 19 courses (see below) for admission are guaranteed admission to one of Florida’s public universities;  OR
Note:  you may not be accepted to your first choice of schools, but you are
guaranteed admission to one of the universities.
meet minimum academic requirements: 4 credits English (3 with substantial writing);  3 credits Mathematics (algebra 1 and higher); 3 credits natural science (2 with substantial laboratory requirements);  3 credits social science; 2 credits foreign language (in same language); 4 credits in approved electives AND it is recommended that you earn at least a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) and achieve SAT/ACT scores identified by the university where you are applying;  OR

obtain an Associate Degree from a Florida Community College
Note:  This is a useful direction to allow students who may not have completed the required courses or did not earn the required grade point average (GPA) to enter a university directly from high school OR for students who need some extra time before committing to a 4-year program.

it is helpful if you possess special talents and/or have noteworthy extra-curricular and/or community service activities (e.g.: art, music, athletics, or leadership)
