| Students graduating from Florida high schools
are required to earn a specific grade point average (GPA), to pass the Florida
Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT), and to meet the credit requirements of the
State and individual district.
The Grade Point Average is an average of the grades earned by a student. A detailed

The GPA required by each county for graduation is as follows:

The Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test
is administered to all 10th graders in Reading and
Math as a requirement for graduation. Students may re-take the test up to six

district may set its own graduation requirements in addition to the States
requirements.
