Program Description
  • Miracle II is a 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant from the Department of Education
  • This program provides after school academic and enrichment activities for over 850 students in Immokalee schools in grades K-8
  • Immokalee schools represent 65% of the district's low performing students and 90% of the migrant students; 100% are Title I students
  • Miracle II funds provide certified teachers to work in the program each day
  • In addition to the strong focus on academic activities, Miracle II provides visiting artists, physical education, health and nutrition classes, field trips and family events
  • Students attend classes for 3 hours a day 5 days a week
  • Miracle II is a five year program that began during the 2004-2005 school year
