Program Description
Miracle II is a 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant from the Department of Education
This program provides after school academic and enrichment activities for over 850 students in Immokalee schools in grades K-8
Immokalee schools represent 65% of the district's low performing students and 90% of the migrant students; 100% are Title I students
Miracle II funds provide certified teachers to work in the program each day
In addition to the strong focus on academic activities, Miracle II provides visiting artists, physical education, health and nutrition classes, field trips and family events
Students attend classes for 3 hours a day 5 days a week
Miracle II is a five year program that began during the 2004-2005 school year
