GPS (Great Programs Synergizing), an NCEF strategic initiative, is a consortium of out-of-school time providers in Immokalee that work together to address the needs of the at-risk students by providing enrichment opportunity and academic safety nets.
GPS: FGCU Leadership Academy
Annually, 75 high school students participate in a two-day leadership camp held at Florida Gulf Coast University. This opportunity is focused on providing a full college experience, creating Future Ready students. LEARN MORE
Close Up High School Conference
Annually, 10 students receive a GPS scholarship to attend this conference over spring break. These students will experience a 6 day/5 night program exploring D.C.’s key institutions and historic sites. Together, they will learn about how their government works and discuss current issues facing their community and country.
